Introducing Dan, our paraplanning, compliance and risk manager here at Colmore. Dan’s very early career had him working as an electrician, before he came to the realisation that he hated it. Luckily, he made an escape and his career in financial services began with Halifax on the mortgages team.

For our third episode of Colmore in Conversation, we’re introducing you to our latest recruit among our planners, Imran! Many of you will already know him, he’s now in his third month at Colmore Partners, but we thought this was a good chance for you to learn more about him, and more importantly, to showcase some different perspectives from within the team.

Anna is one of our four-person team of senior administrators here at Colmore Partners. Having started working in financial services in 2019 with no prior experience, she speaks fondly of the relationship she had with her first manager in the industry, which gave her the grounding to excel early on in her career: “she trained me from scratch and really supported me.”

Our financial planner, Katrania Lowers, has been featured in New Model Adviser’s 35 Under 35 series, sitting down with Victoria Pavlova ahead of the launch of her new financial education platform, MoneyKats.

We’d like to introduce everyone to the latest addition in the Colmore Partners team, Nyla Lowers, the 2-year-old Cavapoo and, more importantly, our Chief Wellness Officer!

Imran is the latest addition to the Colmore Partners team, having joined us in May as a Certified Financial Planner™. After graduating from the University of Manchester, he worked in the legal sector, serving as Practice Director at a barrister-led law firm.

For the past 30 years, Kim has worked in financial services, including 11 years as a paraplanner, and for the last year and a half, we’ve been lucky to have her here at Colmore Partners!

Madeleine Anderson of Citywire New Model Adviser recently explored how AI is seeping into the world of financial advice, particularly in how it’s changing the ways clients communicate with their planners.

Having joined the business in 2022, Simon plays several key roles at Colmore Partners. He’s a director, head of proposition, and a trusted adviser to our clients.
