Introducing Kim

Her career trajectory gradually led her to pursue her Financial Planning Certificate. Once qualified, she joined a financial advisory firm in Knowle, working across mortgage advice and paraplanning, and has remained in the industry ever since.

Kim gradually gravitated more and more towards paraplanning, where she began anchoring her expertise. She enjoys the technical aspects of the role, particularly report writing and research, while her early career in a solicitors helped shape her analytical approach, and attention to detail. For Kim, it’s the challenge she enjoys most, continually expanding her technical knowledge and deepening her understanding.

Outside the office, Kim enjoys walking, cooking, and going to concerts and gigs – sometimes with her two sons, aged 19 and 20, who are always keen to tag along for a good event. They describe her as fun and outgoing, which certainly comes through at Colmore events too! With childhood aspirations of becoming a vet, Kim’s love of animals has remained a constant. Outside of work, she’s volunteered with the Birmingham Nature Centre, is always happy to feed the foxes that wander through the woods near her home, and, most importantly, enjoys the company of her furry companion, Pip the cat.
