Paraplanner Positon

Colmore Partners is an award-winning firm of Independent Financial Planners based in the centre of Birmingham.

We are looking for an ambitious, creative person to join our paraplanning team. The right person will be excited by the prospect of playing their part in the growth of our business over the medium to long term and who has the potential to develop into a Financial Planner, providing regulated advice to our clients, over the next several years.

Candidates will already have financial services experience and be committed to the sector, be quick to learn and embrace new practises, and enjoy a varied workload. The role would suit an established paraplanner who has already achieved, or is close to achieving, the CII diploma in financial planning or equivalent and is keen to be chartered and progress their career.

You should have good communication skills, an eye for detail and the ability to present information in a clear and concise format. The successful candidate will be proficient in report writing and able to undertake complex calculations with experience in a wide variety of product areas. Competency with the Microsoft Office package (particularly Word and Excel) is essential and experience with the Fidelity platform is desirable.

This is a permanent, employed, full-time role. We operate on a hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 working from home. We offer a flexible, supportive and friendly working environment where someone who fits our culture and values will thrive.

Salary estimate: 

£35,000-£50,000 Depending on experience and qualifications
